Azmy Salama
a little boy grown up close to the pyramids of Sahure, Djoser and the Sun temples, tried to understand the mystery behind the writing on the walls of the ancient Egyptian tombs and temples. Spent his time to think about this great Civilization and seeking for answers.
Passion of Ancient Egypt
Azmy used to visit the archaeological sites, eavesdrop to tour guides, may he understand anything! and wondering why the people from all over the world come to visit Egypt? maybe they are here to share him the passion!
After he finished his high school, he decided to start his own
journey of studying Egyptology.
Real Beginning
Azmy loved Hieroglyphic, even he felt like he already knows all
these signs and symbols and always has the feeling that there is a connection
somehow between him and Imhotep!
Yea, he studied Egyptology, but he thought it's not enough, that's why he tried to find his way to the field work (Excavations).
when he was
in the second grade, he asked one of his friends used to work in excavations to
take him.
Yes, he did it and joined an excavation mission as a worker, removing
the sands!
the excavation team knew that he is studying Egyptology, so they decided to help and teach him. It was his luck day.
Finally, Azmy graduated but his passion never stopped, so he worked for the ministry of Antiquities at Giza Pyramids then at Saqqara.
Journey of Archaeology
Yeah, Saqqara - his favorite place ever - so he got field schools
with Egyptian, German, and French. That gave him a good chance to get a better
understanding of Archaeology from various views.
He worked side by side with French, Dutch, and American missions. And traveled to Germany then to the USA, Seeking for knowledge.
He got his Master Degree in the old kingdom art and language. and working on his PhD as he believe in the necessary of learning.
Azmy decided to share his knowledge with other people who
have passion of Egyptomania, So He works as a a tour
guide.
Professional Tour Guide
Azmy Salama is doing all tours in Egypt from north to south, east to west, very flexible with my guests, answering all their questions. He isn't only tour guide for places and history, He's also a guide for all sides of the Egyptians life, their religions, believes, habits, food, feasts and even policy in Egypt.
